Washer Wear Jewelry
Several months ago, I started creating some cute pendants by using a simple metal washer. It seemed like the more that I made, the cuter they got. My mind was constantly thinking of ways to improve them and everyone thinks that they are really cute. I was able to showcase them at a friend's jewelry party several weeks ago and I sold far more than I expected. Since the party, I have sold quite a few and I keep getting orders for more. This is so exciting for me as I have prayed to God daily to help me find a way to make an income by staying at home. I have so much fun creating these pendants. They are like a piece of artwork to me as each one has it's own look. No two will look exacting alike! I will post some pictures of them for you to see!

Work in Progress
Wow...creating blogs are a lot of work! I spent much of my day yesterday trying to update my old blog. I forgot how much work it is! I like the look so far but I am still trying to figure out how to put a cute header on here. I have even been watching You Tube for help..but as you can see...I still don't have a header! I don't think that I am going to waste any time today trying to figure this out, however, it is addictive and I probably won't be able to stay away!! Have a wonderful day. Spring is almost here!! Yay!!

Almost two years later....
....and I am finally back. I recently took early retirement and I hope to start blogging again. It will take me awhile to remember how to do this. I also need to make some updates. I hope to be back again soon to start showing off my greeting cards! Have a wonderful day! Just remember that God is so great and he loves you!

Here is the poem that I said that I would post. I helps me to keep things in perspective. I hope it does for you, what it has done for me.
DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done.
I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me;
I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet;
I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job;
I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused
me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;
I am thanking you right now.
I am thanking you because I am alive.
I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties.
I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.
I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.
God is just so good, and he's good ALL the time.

I'm back...for a day at least...
It's been over a month since I have posted anything on here. Life has been crazy busy. My daughter's apartment lease was up and her roommate left the place in a mess. We really needed to get the down payment back, so we cleaned and cleaned. I felt like I worked for Merry Maid's. I don't even clean my own house that well! My mom was ill for a couple of weeks and I was very busy with her. On top of that, I had to have some medical tests run on Monday, and I am so blessed that every thing turned out fine. I found this wonderful poem that I would like to post. I am going to keep a copy of it posted on my refrigerator. We do need to say thank you to God always. Have a wonderful weekend!

Quote of the day
Nothing much exciting to share today. It is raining again tonight. It has been raining off and on for days! It is suppose to rain for the next four days. How depressing.....I need sunshine! I had dinner tonight with my daughter and her boyfriend at out favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a nice time.
I found this quote somewhere the other day and have to share it with you.....
What doesn't kill me does not make me stronger. It makes me anxious, bitchy, and vulnerable... but nobody wants to see that embroidered on a pillow.
I thought it was so funny! Gotta run for now......
